Fahim Anwar started his comedy career in Seattle shortly after graduating high school, when he began performing stand up. Fahim is now a regular on the LA comedy circuit, doing spots at the Improv, Laugh Factory, Comedy Union, Ice House and the Comedy Store, among others. Fahim was recently a finalist in NBC-Universal’s Standup For Diversity showcase, where he was chosen to perform on the NBC stage at the NACA convention in February 2010. Fahim also made his television debut in February 2010, with a large guest starring role on the new season of NBC’s CHUCK. He's also been busy filming MTV’s DISASTER DATE as a series regular, which will air this spring. This summer, Fahim can be seen on Comedy Central’s new show RUSSELL SIMMONS PRESENTS: STAND UP FROM THE EL REY THEATRE. Fahim also writes and stars in his own series of internet short videos, and had the viral video Gods smile upon him with the success of "Afghan Wedding" as it amassed over half a million views on YouTube while being featured on Break.com and Digg.com. His YouTube channel videos have now been viewed over a million times.
